2D Looking 3D Assets in Blender

I recently got to work with The SPA Studios (Sergio Pablos Animation) again to bring you this breakdown of my process for creating "2D Looking 3D Assets" in Blender.

I find Blender's procedural tools (Geometry Nodes and Shader Nodes) to be the most engaging way to work in 3D (that I've tried), as the combination of the two allows me to implement design ideas globally and iteratively, both backward and forward, and on a very short feedback loop.

I also find the nature of working with geometry nodes, with its dependence on clear instructions and logic, to be conducive to more effective design thinking on my part. Having to break the shape language and designs down in this way, forces me to understand what makes things look the way I want them to look. I find this makes me more engaged and decisive with my work.

In any case, I hope you find this interesting!
